We have compiled a list of people who as conservative HEROES have stuck their head above the media parapet to represent conservative viewpoints. We shouldn’t forget the unsung HEROES as well because there are many out there representing our views and values.
Leighton hosts the Newstalk ZB radio station heard through NZ 8:30~12 pm weekdays. Leighton is not ashamed of his views many of which align with true conservatives including his hot topics of Climate Change amongst others.

Ian has been an outstanding advocate for youth and parenting in New Zealand for many years. In 1993 Ian and his wife Mary established Parenting with Confidence Inc. (now The Parenting Place) the first resource centre for parents in New Zealand.
Ian spent 33 years running Youth for Christ, a national youth organisation involving thousands of young people and volunteer workers in clubs, town hall events, camps and social programmes. He is well known for his creativity and innovation in programming to young people. It is this freshness that comes through in his approach to parenting.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Shapiro graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and Harvard Law School. He has written seven books, the first of which was 2004’s Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America’s Youth, which he started writing when he was 17 years old. He currently writes a column for Creators Syndicate and is editor-in-chief at The Daily Wire. He is the co-founder and former editor-in-chief of the media watchdog group TruthRevolt.
